Tony- Cusco, Peru Week 5

I spent this previous weekend on the "Mother of God" River. It is near the area of Peru where its border fades into the Amazon Rainforest. There were many wild animals and plenty of miles of muddy hiking. The temperature was very different than in Cusco. It was the first time I spent the night in short sleeves.

    Tony,

    Not very many people can say they've been to a place like that! What kind of animal is in your picture? It looks like a prairie dog, but it has quite a long tail. Is it cooler in Peru than you thought? When I went abroad, I totally did not bring the right type of clothing. I ended up buying a lot!
